Lefact does not accept payment, gifts, or sponsorship from any subject of a fact-check.

Sourcing

We name every source. We do not use anonymous sourcing for fact-claims.

Conflicts of interest

Editorial staff disclose any financial or personal interest in subjects they cover. Conflicts disqualify the staffer from the fact-check.

Right of reply

Subjects of a fact-check are contacted for comment before publication where practical.
